Course Programme:

Day one
|
The first day is the "Dealing with Verbal Aggression"
course. (Up to six additional people can attend this course for 'normal'
training.)
|
|
Day two
|
In depth study of what aggression is, its causes and
how it can be 'managed'.
|
|
Day three
|
Advances the trainee's knowledge of aggression
management techniques and test to allow the trainees to review their
knowledge..
|
|
Day four
|
Practice of aggression management techniques and group
discussion.
|
|
Day five
|
Each trainee gives a short aggression management
course.
|
|
Day six
|
Two of the trainees (Trainers) give a course to the
other trainees and up to six other people
|
|
Day seven
|
Two of the trainees (Trainers) give a course to the
other trainees and up to six other people
|
|
Day eight
|
Two of the trainees (Trainers) give a course to the
other trainees and up to six other people
|
|
Day nine
|
Fine tuning and formal review of knowledge via a short
written and practical test is undertaken.
|
|
Upon successful completion of the course, the
'Coaches' will be awarded their Protectics Verbal Aggression Management Coach
certificate.
|
|
The coaches are supported via regular contact with
Protectics Limited and an annual day of training and re-accreditation.
|
|
NOTE: This course is for people who already have some
teaching or coaching skills. Teaching and presentation skills can be taught if required,
on a three day preliminary 'Training Skills' course.
